Germany trip

On the way to scotland we stopped off at Germany to do some ridding and meet with some of the teams sponsors. We met some really cool people and did some really good ridding at some bike parks. We did alot of shooting and interviews with some German bike magazines which was really fun. Here is one of the articles with some really good pictures, but its all in German ha ha: http://www.mtb-news.de/news/2011/06/01/interview-world-cup-team-blackmountain-morewood-united/

Thanks to everyone who made it a good weekend!

World cup 2 fort William

On the past weekend I was up in Scotland for the second round of the world cup series. The track was super fast, rocky and just brutal . It got rougher and rougher everyday after all the riders rode the track. there were so many good riders at this round so it was going to be hard to qualify.

Luckily I made it in the top 80 with not a very good run, so i was happy to qualify. The race day was a little better for me and I ended up finishing 55th. I would have liked to done better, but i was happy to still be ranked in the top 50 for the overall points. I'm lying 48th in the standings so far.

The rest of the morewood united ride team did well, fabien with a 29th and mick with a 25th. Thanks to our mechanics steph and rimouski for all the help! and thanks to all my sponsors!

Next stop is Leogang for the 3rd world cup, see you there!

French cup 1- Brassac

The first round of the french dh cup series took place last weekend in Brassac. It was a good race for my self and the morewood united ride team. The race was very tight and I ended up 7th only 0,3 seconds off 4th place. Fabien came 6th and Mick was on the podium with a 4th place. The team finished 2nd in the team rankings for the race with only 2 riders.

Well done to the team and thanks to our mechanics for all the help and thanks to all my sponsors.
